The Henderson

The Henderson is an innovative commercial development designed by Zaha Hadid Architects.  The 43,000 sq.m. building includes 35 levels of corporate office space and five levels of parking interwoven with footbridges connecting to the surrounding CBD.  The organic architectural form was inspired by a blossoming bauhinia bud, symbolically representing Hong Kong and establishing the concept of an ‘urban oasis’ within the city centre.

Atelier Pacific worked closely with the architect on a comprehensive package for The Henderson’s wayfinding strategy and signage design.  Influences included the unique building façade, curvilinear interior details and elements of The Henderson brand.   Monochromatic metallic hues and materials such as glass, mirror and stainless steel support the development’s technology-driven aesthetic.
